The timely completion of this statue was fixed at 42 months, for which 3200 workers 250 engineers worked round the clock. That is why it has become history as it is the first statue built in such a shorter time frame.

This might surprise you a bit; Statue of Unity is built on Sadhu Island in the Narmada River and is 3.2km away from the Sardar Sarov.
