Khajuraho is famous for its ancient erotic temples and present some of the exceptional architectural work built at a time of the Chandela Dynasty. It is advisable for travellers to be a part of this fascinating show at the courtyard of World Heritage Western Group of Temples. This show will take you back at the time of the Chandela dynasty and tell the story of the unique temples from the 10th century. It is approx. 50 minutes long mesmerizing show held every evening in Hindi and English languages.

The first show is in English and the second is in Hindi at 6.30 pm and 7.40 pm respectively. The entry fee of Khajuraho sound and light show for domestic and foreign travellers is different.

Khajuraho Dance Festival Date - 20th February – 26th February 2021

Witness the most colourful and brilliant Indian classical dance performances like Kathak, Odissi, Kuchipudi, Bharatnayatam, Mohniattam, Manipuri by the classical dancers of various regions of India in this festival. During the performances, spectators can also enjoy the incredible view of Temples of Khajuraho as backdrops. It is celebrated in the month of February every year when the winter begins to fade. It is organized by the Kala Parishad which comes under the Madhya Pradesh Government.
