Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Dhaka

Meet and assist on arrival at the Airport by our airport representative, Transfer from the Airport to the hotel.

Dhaka is the most populous city in Bangladesh and one of the largest metropolises in South Asia. The name Dhaka (also written as Dacca) is said to refer to the Dhak tree, which was once common in the area, or to the Dhakeshwari ("The Hidden Goddess"), whose shrine is located in the western part of the city. It is located north of the Buriganga River, a channel of the Dhaleswari River, in the south-central part of the country.

Check in to Hotel. (Hotel Check-in time 14.00Hrs)

Day 2 - Dhaka

Breakfast at the hotel, later enjoy a city tour visiting the following –

AhsanManzil (Pink Palace) (Remains closed on Thursdays) - The palace is considered one of the most important architectural icons of the country and is divided into two parts, known as the east and west side. This the stately red structure was once the official residence of the Nawab’s family and was built in the mid to late 19th century.

The river port of Sadarghat - Sadarghat is the river port of Dhaka and the center of the social, economic, and cultural life of the city. The crowds of workers, fishermen, and tourists make a visit to the porta chaotic and sometimes challenging experience, but worth it for the unique insight into the life of the city.

. The Shakharibazaar(Hindu Street) - This colorful and lively area is the 300-year-old center of the Hindi community in Dhaka. The area is crisscrossed by alleys with tiny workshops where craftsmen and artisans practice their ancient traditional crafts, making everything from dragons to jewelry.

The Lalbagh fort - The half-finished Lalbagh Fort and its well-kept gardens are a slight departure from the hustle and bustle of old Dhaka. Its construction began in 1677 under the direction of Prince Mohammed Azam, the third son of Emperor Aurangzeb. However, the death of Khan's daughter PariBibi (Fair Lady) was considered such a bad omen that the fort was never completed.

The Dhakeswari temple - Dhakeshwari, means "Goddess of Dhaka", is the primary Hindu temple and state-owned and is, therefore, the national temple of Bangladesh. According to the legend Dhakeshwari was built in the 12th century by King BallalSen of the Sena Dynasty. The current temple is two hundred years old and was built by an agent of the East India Company.

Dhaka University / Curzon Hall - Curzon Hall was built in 1904 by Lord Curzon, it is the highlight of every visit to Dhaka University. The Grand Raj-era building combines European and Mughal architecture in typical Indo-Saracen style and matches in its elegance and splendor the surrounding buildings such as the Old Supreme The court, the Mausoleum of the Three Guides, Shaheedullah Hall, and Dhaka Gate.

The National Parliament House from outside - The main characteristic of the building is its monumental presence. The large concrete mass lined with marble strips and characterized by the openings in the exterior walls, and the predominance of geometric shapes in circular and rectangular concrete offer a great homage to the building, in keeping with the noble functions of the interior.

Day 3 - Dhaka – Sylhet

Drive to Sylhet (260 Kms / 06 Hours drive) On the way visit Narshingdi, which is a weaving village and known for Colorful Sarees (ladies wera and Lungis (men’s wear). There are also over 50 temples and a great number of mosques in the city. Later continue drive to Sylhet.

Sylhet -The city is located on the right bank of the Surma River in northeastern Bengalsurrounded by breathtaking lush forests, abundant wildlife, fragrant fruit tree groves and endless tea plantations. It is a small piece of paradise in Bangladesh, hidden between the rolling green hills of Tripura, Jainitia and Khasi. Sylhet is renowned worldwide for the production of standard quality tea leaves.

Later visit the followings –

• MaliniCherra Tea Garden (subject to permit) – Visit one of the oldest and biggest in the sub-continent.
It was established by Lord Hurdson in 1849 on 1500 acres of Land.

• Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal - Asaint came from Yemen, who settled in Sylhet.

Hazrat Shah Jalal was buried in Sylhet and his tomb attracts visitors every day.

Day 4 - Sylhet – Tamabil – Jafflong – Sylhet

After an early breakfast drive to Tamabil, the border outpost with Meghalaya, India Visit this area. Through this border people from both sides can visit each other country and visitors from other countries also enter Bangladesh visiting Assam.

Later continue drive to Jafflong. It is a beautiful hill station known for its stone collections and is home of the Khasi Tribe. Here, you can see mesmerizing Khasia-Jaintia Hill range over-looking to Bangladesh. On clear sky water falls on the Hills can be seen.

Drive back to Sylhet.

Day 5 - Sylhet – Srimangal

Today you will drive to Srimangal (136 Kms / 2 ½ Hours). Srimangal is the Tea Capital of Bangladesh with a concentration of more than a hundred Tea gardens. Blessed with rolling hills carpeted with endless tea plantations, dense forest sanctuaries and a sprinkling of tribal villages, this place is bound to rank among your most treasured experiences in Bangladesh. Check-in at the Hotel.

Afternoon visit Tea Gardens and get to see the picking of Tea leaves by women workers. Also visit Monipuri Village to experience the local rural village lifestyle. In the evening, we have a surprise for you- Enjoy 07- layer Tea.

Each layer differs in color and taste.

Day 6 - Srimangal – Comilla

Early breakfast and move to Lawacherra to explore the Forest, Wildlife including endangered Holook Gibbons, Flying Squirrels, Jungle fowl, Monkeys, birds, etc. Lawacherra Rain Forest is one of the well-reserved and significant forest in Bangladesh.

Here you will get to see the rich flora and fauna of the valley of Sylhet. Return back to the Hotel. Later drive to Comilla (165 Kms – 04 ½ Hours drive).Comilla is bordered by Brahmanbaria and Narayanganj districts to the north, Noakhali andFeni districts to the south.

It contains several libraries, a museum, and more than a dozen colleges, the oldest and most notable of which is Comilla Victoria University College.

Day 7 - Comilla- Sonargaon – Dhaka

Today visit ShalbanVihara, which is one of the most Historical Landmarks in Bangladesh. It is a Buddhist archaeological site in Mainamati dating back to 7th to 11th century. The monastery was named Shalban Bihar as there was once a dense forest of Shal-Gajari around the monastery.

Visit Commonwealth War Cemetery (Sunday closed) where soldiers died during the Second World War were buries from the Alliance side. Later drive to Dhaka, on the way visit Sonargaon. The Sonargaon was the old capital of Bengal in the medieval period.

Sonargaon was the seat of the medieval Muslim rulers. Many rulers from 13th Century used Sonargaon as its Capital. Sonargaon was also known as the city of Panam and was a focal part of the renowned Deva Dynasty. Today, people visit the historic city of Sonargaon for its immense beauty and by the ruins of buildings and relics that date back to the era of Bengal.

The Goaldia Mosque is situated in the Goaldi village and is a wonderful example of an ancient Sonargaon building. The Folklore Museum is another attraction, which houses a variety of artifacts.

Arrive Dhaka and check-in at the Hotel.

Day 8 - Dhaka Departure

In time transfer to the airport to board the flight back home / destination onwards.
