The Markha Valley trek also known as Tea House Trek. It is one of the most fascinating treks of Ladakh. This trek provides the best views of Ladakh and Zanskar Ranges. You will get a chance to see the 21000 feet and 20086 feet high Kang Yissay and Stok Kangri peaks respectively while your expedition on this trek. Other amazing attractions are Hemis National Park, Gandala La and Kongmaru La which trekkers will explore while taking Markha Valley trek route.

Best Time to do Markha Valley Trek

The best time to do this trek is from June to September. During this period weather of Ladakh remains pleasant and the average day temperature ranges between 20°C and 30°C. August is the ideal month to visit Markha Valley.

How to Reach Markha Valley?

By Air:
Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport is the nearest airport in Leh City. There are flights available that connect Leh with Delhi as well as few major cities of India.
By Road: Leh is well connected to the North Indian cities by two highways:
The Srinagar-Leh Highway passes through Kargil and Zoji-La (3505m).
Manali-Leh Highway passes through Rohtang Pass and Tanglang La (5325m).
