Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive at Delhi
Arrive in Delhi. On arrival, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative and transferred to the hotel.
DELHI - It is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators.

Day 2 - Delhi
After breakfast, visit Red Fort (from Outside) – the 17th-century imposing fortress, the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque where more than 20,000 people can kneel in prayer and Raj Ghat –Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial. In the afternoon, explore New Delhi. You will drive past President’s Palace and India Gate (42m high), built to commemorate the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, and the Qutub Minar, the highest sands stone minaret in the world (73 meters).

Day 3 - Delhi – Agra
Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna, was once the seat of the Mughal rulers, the zenith of art and an enshrined romance. The town was famous for its beautiful medieval monuments. The passion of the Mughals for building endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world.

Day 4 - Agra
After breakfast, visit Taj Mahal – A poignant poetry in marble, stands serene and awesome on a raised marble platform by the banks of the Yamuna. The most extravagant monument ever built for love, it is a tribute to the timelessness of art and love. The inimitable poem in white marble, one of the seven modern wonders of the world, the finest expression of the love of Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz who died giving birth to their 14th child, is located on the banks of the Yamuna River here. The construction of the Taj had commenced in 1631AD and had ended in 1653AD. Workers were gathered from all over the country and from central Asia. About 20,000 people were recruited to translate this dream into reality. The main architect was Isa Khan who was brought from Iran.
In the afternoon, visit Agra Fort. Built by the great Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is a masterpiece of design and construction. Within the fort are a number of exquisite buildings, including the Moti Masjid, Diwane-I-Am, Diwane-I-Khas, and Musamman Burj, where the Emperor Shah Jahan died in imprisonment, besides Jahangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal, and the Sheesh Mahal.

Day 5 - Agra – Jaipur
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur is the City of Victory was originally Sawai Jaipur, named after its founder Sawai Jai Singh II (1700-1743). The sunset-pink tinge of its walls, buildings, temples and emporia gave it the name Pink City, the name in which it became famous throughout the world On arrival in Jaipur, check in at the hotel.
Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride (Paddy Cab) in the streets of Jaipur. This will be done through the old city (30 – 45 Minutes), ride through the narrow by-lanes of Jaipur, through the hustle & bustle of the old bazaar (Market).

Day 6 - Jaipur
After breakfast, a half-day excursion trip takes you to Amber Fort on Jeep / Elephants. This city Fort is situated 130m high with the Aravalli hills all around it in a valley 11 km north of Jaipur. It was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha Rajputs till 1037.
En route, make a photo stop at the Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal). It is a 5 storied building from the 18th century having 953 windows and niches made so that the ladies of the Royal family could see the processions and events in the city without being visible to the people outside. In the afternoon,visit the "Pink City" of Jaipur. You will visit City Palace, which houses the Royal residence and museums with collections of textiles and costumes, armoury, manuscripts, paintings, etc. Also, visit Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar-1728-34) built by king astrologer Jai Singh II. The instruments are built of stone with marble facing on the important plains for measuring the harmony of the heavens. Each instrument serves a particular function and each gives an accurate reading.

Day 7 - Jaipur – Bikaner
After breakfast, leave for Bikaner, founded by Rao Bika in 1488. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. It is an oasis town among scrub and sand dunes. In the afternoon, visit the Junagarh Fort, which is an unusual fort, because other major forts of Rajasthan were built on hilltops, but this fort is built on the desert plain, surrounded by a moat.

Day 8 - Bikaner – Camel Safari
After breakfast, drive to Raisar (approx. 07 km). You can experience this village and the desert with a camel ride. The safari will start from Raisar. The first stretch will take to Pooh (08 Kms). Pooh is basically a watering hole in the middle of the desert for man and beasts alike. The lunch will be organized in Pooh.
After lunch, there will be a break of approximately 90 minutes. You will ride your camels for another 10 km and reach the village of Gairsar. We will set up the camp just outside the village.

Day 9 - Camel Safari
After breakfast, start camel safari from Gairsar towards Bamblu (12 Kms). Visit Bamblu village and later, lunch stop would be organized in the middle of the desert under the shadow of trees. There would once again be a break of approximately 90 minutes before starting the second part of the Day Safari.
During the day, you might come across Gazelles, blue bulls, different varieties of vultures or even a Desert Fox!
Ride your camels for another 08 km and reach Gaga Risala Desert Camp. The camp is in the middle of the Thar Desert and surrounded by sand dunes.
Dinner with bonfire and folk music will be organized at the campsite.
Day 10 - Camel Safari – Bikaner
After breakfast, camel ride for 08 Kms to reach the village of Panpalsar. If you want you can visit this village also. The lunch would again be organized on the outskirts of the village. After lunch break, camel ride for 12 Kms toreache the hotel in Bikaner.

Day 11 - Bikaner – Jaisalmer
It will be a full day’s drive westwards to Jaisalmer through the Thar Desert. The drive passes by dry vegetation, with villages of colourfully dressed people, plenty of camels and camel carts, sheep and goats.
Arrive in Jaisalmer late afternoon. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 12 - Jaisalmer
After breakfast, visit Jaisal Castle and the havelis (mansions of the rich merchants). These Havelies have beautifully carved facades, jali screens and windows overhanging the streets below. Visit Salim Singh Haveli (17 century), which is especially attractive for peacock brackets.
Nathmal Haveli (1885) was built for the Prime Minister. Patwon Haveli (1805) is a group of five, built for five brothers. They have fine murals and carved pillars. The afternoon is free. As an option, you can take a trip to Sam sand dunes.

Day 13 - Jaisalmer – Jodhpur – Luni
After anearly breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. It is the second-largest city of Rajasthan, built by Rao Jodha in 1459 when he shifted is Jaisalmer Fort capital from Mandore. In Jodhpur, visit Mehrangarh Fort situated on a 37m-sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Later, visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh.
After the sightseeing, drive to Luni (01 hrs) for an overnight stay in a beautiful fort now a hotel.

Day 14 - Luni
After breakfast, start a 02 Hour Jeep Safari. The chances of seeing different types of ntelopes and Deer are quite bright. At times, one also comes across a Desert Fox. Next, we will take you to a village of weavers who make handmade Carpets called "Durries". One can see the craftsmen at work on their weaving stools.

Day 15 - Luni – Udaipur
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur. En-route visit the Jain Temples in Ranakpur. Udaipur is known as the Venice of the East. It has to its credit some beautiful temples and gardens. It lies in the Girwa Valley amidst the Aravali hills of South Rajasthan. The city is considered a romantic city with its lakes, gardens, temples. It is an oasis in the Thar Desert. On arrival at Udaipur, check-in the hotel.

Day 16 - Udaipur
After breakfast, visit the City Palace built on the bank of the Pichola Lake, by Maharana Udai Singh in 1570.The impressive complex of several palaces is a blend of Rajput and Mughal influences. Half of it is still occupied by the Royal family and partly converted into a museum. Next, visit Sahelion ki Bari an ornamental pleasure garden specially made for the ladies of the palace in the 18th century. It has beautiful fountains, trees, and flowers. The welcome fountain from the gate leads to the rain fountain, which has a central fountain with beautiful black marble kiosks with fountains on the corners of the pool and stunning bougainvillea covering the walls of the enclosure.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a Boat ride on Lake Pichola. Lake Pichola derives its name from Pichola Village. Maharana Udai Singh enlarged the lake after he founded the city of Udaipur. This picturesque 4 km long and 3 km wide lake encloses the Jag Niwas Island and the Jag Mandir. The City Palace extends along its eastern banks.

Day 17 - Udaipur – Delhi Departure
After late breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the flight for UDR / DEL evening flight is 9w 708 at 1625 hrs / 1735 hrs. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later in the evening, after dinner, transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward journey.
